Default I Got Wet!

Well, after a mishap with my 964 (totaled), I decided to go with a 986. My Porsche roots started with the 914, so I am a big fan of the mid engine. After the 964 came around on me the way it did (I am a good driver btw), I thought I should give the 986 a try. Air vs. water? Who cares, it's a Porsche!

After much soul searching and hard work, I purchased the following:

2003 Seal Gray S with light gray interior, tipronic, Carrera 5-spoke wheels and Bose audio system. It is a California car, lease return, with 43,000 miles and 9 months left on the factory warranty. The car is great as is sits, but it will not be stock for long.

Very nice! Even though our 2003 is not an S, I will say its a really nice car, glass window, glove box and a few more horsies is well worth buying the later model, IMHO.

Love to see more pics!

Hey Brandon,

I was sooooo close to buying that '01 from Ryan, but I decided to go with the tip so my wife can drive it as well.

Very nice! My first Porsche was also a 914. The Boxster S is quite a car.
Good luck with it.

Congrats on the purchase. What a sharp car! Sorry to hear about your 964. My mom drives an '04 seal gray Boxster S, tiptronic w/ Carrera 5 spoke wheels (it's fantastic to drive) and I drive a '99 silver gray metallic standard Boxster. They're ageless . . .

Not necessarily...you could just come up with another reason for "92" to mean something to you.
