After much soul searching and hard work, I purchased the following:
2003 Seal Gray S with light gray interior, tipronic, Carrera 5-spoke wheels and Bose audio system. It is a California car, lease return, with 43,000 miles and 9 months left on the factory warranty. The car is great as is sits, but it will not be stock for long.

I saw your 964 in an earlier thread, that was beautiful - especially nice job on the interior. Was it totaled in the crash?

Did you even read the post, or were you too flabergasted that someone would actually chose a 986 over another 964?? After all, you admittedly consider the Boxster to be a "Secretary car"..........why even post here??

Here's a big FYI for you......"good drivers" can also make mistakes...
I see no benefit in kicking a guy......well,.......after he lost his car!! Additionally, opinions and preferences are fine but your ongoing bitterness about "new Porsches" is a little old. Take some of your own advice and "give it a rest"

I never said that I was "surprised" the rear end came around on me. I am actually quite familiar with p-cars, as I have been driving Porsches for over 15 years; 911s for the past 5 alone. The rear engine weight distribution issues of the 911 are well known and I am very familiar with the swaping ends possibilities and the corrective actions that should be taken to avoid a mishap. I AM a good driver, so I don't appreciate anyone implying otherwise. The purpose of this thread was not to get into my driving capabilities, but rather to introduce my new p-car.
I appreciate those well-wishers and would invite any others to not post in my thread. Thank you.
