I've always wondered, do any boxster owners buy 968 rear badges and change the numbers around to make it 986, and put them on the car?

I got my set from Bumper Plugs for $82 painted Seal Grey and Guards Red.

Not to upset anyone, but they all seem to be mounted differently. On one, the loops in the 9 and 6 are horizontal. On another, the loops are angled, but the same. On another and on the "real" 968 the loops on the 9 and the 6 don't match. Which is "right" which is "wrong." Though, I wonder if that white 968 has been redone - the spacing seems off.

Pardon my simplistic photoshop work. But, what do you think of the 986 in this location? I always thought the full "BOXSTER" took up too much space of the small trunk lid and seemed like it was in the wrong place.
