I have had a 3.4 boxster for 2 years now and all I can say is that it is one of the most fun cars I have ever driven, and that is a long list.
My car has a low miles 996 engine, 996 brakes, 996 clutch and lwght flywheel, TTP ecu reflash, intakes, headers, bilstein sports with Eibach springs, hi flo cats, gt3 front clip and seats, 18" Fikse's and much more.
The car is completely forgiving, extremely well balanced with the possibility of throttle steering, can take speeds through corners that just do not seem possible. Acceleration is very crisp, about on par with e39 M5, but in the corners the car is a beast.
I would be very skeptical if someone was selling such a car for $23k, I know I would not even consider it or anything even close. These are fantastic cars.

riverflyer, what year is your Boxster? (..just curious...am looking at Boxsters and wondering if I should start cheap in order to build something like yours..) Did you add all the CF interior bits?

Thanks.

Doug, its a 97 and was chosen because the early years are the lightest cars. I actually bought it with all the engine work done and lots of the body and interior also finished. I have over $60k in receipts from him plus a few k of my own. Great car.
If anybody considering this mod wants to come check out the car and go for a drive, you are welcome to. I live on the north coast of Calif.

Very nice car, tastefully done mods.
You built my dream car !! I have a 2000S but it has depreciated so much that I always go back and forth about starting to mod it extensively. I am kind of hesitating and hoping to ****** a GT3 or 997S in the long term.
I live in the Bay Area south of Napa, if you want to go for a drive during this summer let me know, I would love to check your car.

Thanks for posting these pictures.

Enjoy it !!!
