Ditto,,,I've post this question several times with no luck...I was thinking about trying Pagid Blue Sport Pads but don't know how well they will work with older rotors?

I use Hawk HPS on my daily driver/autocross S. They make much less dust than OEM. They have no provision for the wear sensors so you've got to tie them back and do without.

I really like them because of low fading and low dust and have really had no issues with them.
I am about to replace both rotors and pads and am going with them again.

This begs the next question for me?
Who on the internet has the best prices for original Porsche rotors?????
Not OEM, Not Zimmerman Drilled, not slotted, but just plain Porsche rotors that come in the Porsche factory box???

I finally found a set on e-bay some time ago. The hard part is finding a rear S set. I also found them. It took quite awhile. There are a couple of shops that list on EBay ut usually a package deal, would most likely sell the rotors separate, but I think they may not be OEM. I place of OEM have you considered the floating two piece rotors. At the time they were not offered for the S, maybe now you could do a great upgrade, even have the cryo treated and use ceramic pads. Just a thought. I put on new pads last time. Did the simple job myself. If the rotors are not out of limit on runout you should be able to get another use. But as always " refer to your service manual for exact requirements "

Thanks turbo, will look at that angle!
The thing that pisses me off is that these Zimmermans only lasted 14 k miles!
I am not a tracker and its my daily driver, I fealt they should have went longer as my original Porsche rotors did.

I also use the Pagid Blue, or "Sport" pads. Must less dust than stock, not any harder on rotors, last about twice as long. No fade on the track or street, and great initial bite. The only downside is that they tend to squeal until they warm up.

I use the Mintex Red Box with Zimmerman OEMs (not drilled or slotted). They have been on for about 15K miles so far and are working beautifully. Low dust, good stopping power, quiet and the rotors have minimal wear (about 1/2mm so far). Drilled or slotted rotors don't give you any real advantage on the street, just a different look. They are really made for track use where the buyer expects to go through a set of rotors every session or two.
One thing to note is your rotors should wear out faster if you are using low dust pads. The metallic content is high in low dust pads so it will chew rotors up faster. It's the trade off you have to live with, but to me it sure beats having to wash the wheels after each drive. My first set of rotors with stock pads lasted 60K miles, so if I get 40-50K out of these rotors with low dust pads I'll be getting the same again. At 15K miles and 1/2mm wear, I should get close to 60K miles.
