Default Radio problem...help

My father while trying to jump his 03' Boxter had the cables backwards and killed the battery. I replaced the battery now everything works except the radio. I checked the fuses to no avail. Could this be a relay? If so which should I check? Any other ideas?? Thanks guys!

I was told by a mechanic at my local dealer that if the jumper cables are reversed the first thing that fries is the radio....

There is a fuse that plugs directly in the rear of the radio(next to all the plugs). Not sure if that would have blown but worth checking for sure.

There is a fuse on the back of the radio.

You said you checked the fuses....

Hate to make this a threepeat response, but I'll bet a 6 pack of diet coke it only needs the fuse on the radio replaced.
