Going from 18" to 17" wheels
#16
Ok. But, now I'm a little confused. The pictured wheel is the 18" wheel on my 2000 S, which were from the factory (and noted as an option under the front hood). Are those what you are saying are the Boxster S II wheels at 17.8 and 19.6 lbs? If so, cool. If not, I still love 'em.

Hi Jay,
Then you have the same ones I had: factory Turbo Look (I) wheels 7-1/2" and 9" 18s. They are a very classy look for the original Boxster body and one of my faves, but are heavy. The 17" wheels that came on our Boxster S'es are Boxster S (I) and, I think in '03, they came out with Boxster S II wheels which are a split 5 spoke (10 spokes). Now I have some Champion RG5s which are ultralight, but they are a PITA to clean. Can't have everything, I guess... Below are Boxster S II wheels.
