Default 99 boxster wreck

hi there, i have a friend who wrecked his 1999 boxster (front and rear driver's side corner hit) and wants to sell the whole thing as a parts/wrecked car. it has less than 30k miles on the motor.

i'm curious if anyone can tell me what the market value is for a totalled boxster these days.

i'm a longtime and active 951 owner so i know a lot about the 951's but i'm not very familiar with the boxsters so i thought i'd post here.

many thanks!

edit: listed for sale, BEST OFFER takes it!

at this time, he's only considering sale of the whole car as he's paying for secured indoor storage.

the question is, how much would YOU buy it for? $50 ? $500 ? $5000 ?

if this were a 951 i know how much the wreck would be worth for the parts, i'm just not familiar with the boxster market is why i'm asking.

its not worth much, though parts are worth a lot on p-cars, a lot of "easily saleable" parts are messed or AWOL. headlights, suspension, wheels, interior, are all doa on first glance. that car is worth $2500 imo.

If the engine and trans still worked fine, maybe $2500 as mentioned already. There might be other items that are fine and able to be sold, but would not have much of a market for much like pedal assy., abs brain, m/c etc. These cars are not old enough for this stuff.

Who ended up with the wrecked Boxster? I'm still looking for a rear lower control arm ball joint dust boot, and the driver's side lower control arm on the wrecked car looks like it could be trashed. If so, the ball joint dust boot is probably still good. I need that boot. pleeeeeeeeeeease!!!!!
