Optima battery for a Boxster

Default Optima battery for a Boxster
I have a friend who needs a new battery for his Boxster. I suggested an Optima. What size fits the Boxster? Any reason he shouldn't get one?

A miata battery is the way to go.

They only weigh 13lbs, and should easily provide enough CCA for a boxster.
