Default Boxster rollover hoop Opinion and Help needed

I've taken out those silly plastic mesh bits that fit into the inside of the hoops and the clear plex part that fits between the two hoops. I'd like to remove the two clip parts left on the hoops that held it in place. Anyone else do this. I would hate to break one, if I sell the car ever I will want to replace them. Any hints.

I'm removing all of that stuff as I think it looks silly and the difference with vs. without is negligible. And I bought the Boxster, so I could drive around with the top down and the wind blowing.

There is a third part in the middle that you did not mention.

Pull off all the roll bar padding and drill out 4 pop rivets and the 3 mounting brackets will be gone. Put padding back on.
