Hi!
This is my first post. I just bought a 2001 Boxster with 43K miles last weekend. I'm doing some research on extended warranties and I found a company called Continental Warranty (http://www.continentalwarranty.com/). Through them I can get a 7 year/100K mile "Factory Plus" warranty underwritten by Lyndon Property Insurance Company. The warranty will cover all of the items below and their related parts less a $100 per claim copay/deductible:
Thoughts?
Thanks,
Liza

Engine
Transmission / Transaxle
Differential Assembly Components (2 And 4 Wheel Drive)
CV Joints
Steering
Timing Belt
Hi-tech Electrical
Suspension
Cooling System Plus
Fuel System
Brake System
Turbo Charger / Supercharger
Air Conditioner
Seals And Gaskets
Fluids
The price I was quoted was only $1899. Maybe I'm a cynic but it just sounds too good to be true. I'd really appreciate any advice or experience others have had with warranties-especially with Continental. They have a satisfactory BBB rating. I also checked most of the common sites such as AAAutoWarranty.com and Warranty Direct but the Continental price blows them all way both in coverage and price.Transmission / Transaxle

Will the dealership you use work with the company. Do they know them or have any experince with them? Make sure your specific make and model is listed. It can get rather complex. Just trying to help, and most interested in your response.
