What is the part number for the replacement seal that you installed?

Information on the DIY would be great. How many mles on the cars? How did you check the hole for size. I hear there is a go no go limit.

P/N is 997.101.212.00 (this is Porsches latest and greatest)..
I did not have the go no-go gauge, but even if it was a no-go Iwas not about to buy new engines so I went for the replacement of the rear main.
On one engine it loked like the intermediate shaft cover plate was leaking so I went ahead and replced it as well.. BTW there is a sevice bulletin that says to replace the three intermediate shaft cover plate bolts and four through bolts at the same time..

I'll definitely be contacting you if mine starts to go.

I was reading on another forum that the Cayenne RMS fixes the problem. Anybody else tried it or know if it works?
