3M aerospace film
Hello all,
I have an '01 Boxster S that I've done 1 or 2 DE's with R compound tires (MPSC's). Because of the tires kicking up every visible and invisible speck on the track I've decided to have clear bra film placed on the inside of the wheel wells. I had thought about having 3M aerospace film installed which is thicker than the regular film (1.4 ml vs 0.8 ml). The proposed installer is trying to talk me out of the thicker film due to the film edge being more visible and also having a thicker edge to collect debris. Has anyone else used the thicker film and if so are you glad you did or would you just recommend sticking with the regular film? Thanks.
