Default Maryland Roads

Does anybody know of any good, curvy roads in Maryland for spirited driving. I live near Baltimore and haven't found any good roads without cops. Also, does anyone know of a country road to safely test out my top speed? Thanks!

Have you looked through the Favorite Roads forum at http://www.dorkiphus.com/porsche/index.php. May be something there of interest.

Re top speed test, I dunno.

If you want to relatively safely test your top speed...join the PCA and participate in a driver's education event....but don't be a fool trying to test your or the car's limits on public roads!

Wink Great Curvy Road

St. Stephens Church Road in Crownsville south of Millersville.....go south on US 97 to Route 3 South to St. Stephens Church Road, there will be a yellow sign off the highway, cross over Route 3 and have some fun for about 5 plus miles to Defense Highway Route 450..............motorcycles/ ricers use it all the time..........very little cop action.......

Also I would like to suggest during the week the drive over to Luray Caverns via Skyline drive. During the week it's very safe with no law. The weekend it's packed and the police are all over it...
