I just purchased a 98 Boxster, 5 speed with 58k miles. I am noticing a strange cowl type noise from the rear of the car - this happens only when the car is moving. I initially thought it might be a tire issue, but after driving the car more and listening to the noise, it sounds like it could possibly be an issue with the rear end.

I am new to owning a Boxster, so if anyone has any advice or could let me know if this is a common problem with this year, I'd really appreciate it.
