Default P1141 P0140 secondary air injection codes

97 Boxster has codes 1141 and 0140. I have tested the pump, and the air valves. Everything checks out good. The pump is running fine, the valves are clear for air to pass through them and are holding vaccum in the proper places according to the factory diagnostic tree. I am thinking that the ports in the heads may be clogged. Has anyone out there had any luck with cleaning these? If so can you reccomend any procedures, chemicals or other tips. I greatly appreciate any help.

You should replace both your valves, there's two. I spent 6 months trying to think it was something else like clogged ports. If you car has 50k miles than this is it for sure. They use old 993 parts and the valve just falls apart inside. After taking it off make sure you don't stick your mouth on it and breath in!!!!!
