Getting close to making the decision to take her in or do it myself. I have purchased everything but the fluid which goes for 13.00 dollars a liter. Has anyone done it or have any pointers. I am a die hard do it myself kinda person. Mine is an 01 S.

 

Well, I am getting closer now. I have all the bits a pieces for the ATF job, even the liquid gold dealer only trans fluid. If you think the trans is a pain, just found out there is no drain for the differential. You have to remove the muffler just to get to the cover and the manual says if you drop the gears that can fall out of the carrier they have to be replaced. Unbelievable! Oh an special alignment pins required as well. All this and I will be layiny on my back. I know I know.
