Desnorkel your boxter, how to?
Hi, I was going through some old posts and stumbled across one referring to a guy that "desnorkeled" his boxster. This apparently improved the sound and gave some perceived performance. That post was the only one I could find that referred to desnorkeling.
Could someone please enlighten me? Any info would be greatly appreciated!

check out this link from the great boxster resource @ ppbb.com
PS. on 03 and after cars, there is no snork, so don't bother.

are the cover plates for the grills the same on both sides? i just de-snorkeled my 01 S and noticed that there is a leading edge type ridge on the left cover plate while the right cover plate is pretty flushed with the body...
is this normal or did i not get the plate all the way in? looks like its in there pretty good and the screw hole lines up perfect...

as for claimed horsepower/etc gains, that may well be the placeabo effect coming to play.
