It's the new Boxster...987. They're made to fit 19s easily, so these are probably just Gambella wheels or something...

No likey. It gets to the point where the wheels overshadow the car itself.......too much bling in the wheel wells for me.......I'd stick with the stock 18" - 19" versions.

If you live in a metro area you may have to buy those wheels by the dozen.

In school (I went to a college of art and design...specifically for automotive design...although that's not what I do now) we used to call those "rubber bands" because the wheels were drawn so big that the "tire" looked like a rubber band around a metal drum. That was 10 years ago. I can't believe they actually look like that now.

Those are not photochopped. That's the Techart 987, with Techart 20" wheels.

What size are the tires, they must be 20 or 30 profiles?

245/20 ZR 20 in the front perhaps?

Bet they last as long as it takes to hit a pothole!

People are so vain and so senseless re low profile tires that it is beyond belief... I imagine if the driver wears dentures it will loose them, and if not, it may break his teeth or bite his tongue

It doesn't look that bad. Again the option wheel for this car is 19" so this is not far off size wise. The 18's are supposed to be the best handling I have read...that's my story and I am sticking to it. Of course I have 18"s so I am partial. If you are going to Bling it though why not just install HRE's.....drool.

Why dont INDY cars use those tire and rim combinations.........Makes you wounder why we have low profile tires docent it. You said it, ridiculous. Just because you can dosent mean you should. Having siad that I respect any ones right to what they think is cool. My mother in law called my 57 Ford a stink bug because I had it raised up in the rear. I was hurt.

Can anyone photochop those onto a Biarritz White 986?
