I saw a local car with a kit on that looked awsome, but this one don't look right.

No, to the best of my knowledge the front splitter (if it can be called that) and the side skirts are NOT factory. The rear spoiler might be, though I am not 100% sure.

I don't think the huge gap between the bumper and the right fender is OEM either. It looks like an aftermarket enhancement. That's the problem with some of these aftermarket fiberglass body kits: the fit is not always perfect. In this case the fit is horrible -- it looks like he hit a steep driveway with the nose of the car and the bumper looks like it is about to fall off!

You are correct. It is the Techart kit. Front splitter, side skirts and rear wing. Looks like they did a poor job installing the kit. I never did like the kits TechArt put out for the 986. The 996 kits, however, look awesome.

I think techart made a boxster kit the first year the boxster came out
