Can I use this Red Line product to change 2000 Boxster S transmission oil? Red Line told me this is what I need. What do you think? Can they do harm to tranny?

in california you wouldn't notice the cold benifts (and we east coasters hate you for that).
however, if you use it in conjunction with the B&M or porsche OEM short shifter, i have heard that it makes the shifting "absolutely perfect".
glad to help!

There is some confusion as to whether or not the 75w-90 has the anti-shock additive or not. It used to not have it though now supposedly it does. When it did not people mixed 2qts 75w-90 and .6 qts 80 weight lightweight gear oil.

he brings up a good point
many people used that additive together with the redline. they called it the redline cocktail.
skyler, over at PPBB, (a great purely boxster resource) had noticed that even though the company claimed they included the 'additive' in the new formula, that the new package was no different from the old one, a bit suspect if you ask me.
