I like this shot a lot as it shows the big reds behind the turning wheels...

About to get passed by Michael Lansky in his Arizona flag liveried Boxster 3.4 RSR:

Here it is about a month later at the same track. Figued I'd change to the "James Dean" font when I decided to change numbers:

I'm also thinking about putting "Chic Car" on the back in the same script and place James Dean had "Little Bastard" so that everyone will know they got beat by a Chic Car. Or maybe "Porsche with Panties"... Still working on this idea though...

Great pictures netmaniac, your car looks pretty cool what have you had done to it?is it a 2.5 or 2.7? It would be great to see some other pics of that Boxster 3.4 RSR beast.

Thanks Dove, it's still a work in progress. So far all that's been done is:
  • Sparco Evo 2 seats
  • Sparco 6pt. harness
  • Momo steering wheel with quick release
  • Factory carpet delete
  • Safety Devices roll cage
  • Kinesis K57's black on black
  • Lightened flywheel
  • Electrical Cut off switch
  • Getty Design fiberglass rear decklid with RS spoiler
  • GT3 front bumper cover
  • I also painted my stock (street) wheels black

I planning to add JRZ single adjustable coilovers to that list in the near future. I've also got about another 100 or so pounds I need to lose. So I'll probably turn the top into a manual top, delete the A/C, remove the popup spoiler motor, and whatever else I can find that I don't need.

I thought there were more pics of Lansky's Boxster on the site for the shop that does his work, but there are gone now. He hangs out over on the Boxster Racing Board if you want to ask him personally.

Oh, sorry, I forgot to answer this question. It's '02 S, so it's a 3.2L. It was one of the last '02's in the area so it's a zero-optioned car (no M030, cruise control, CD changer, nothing) which turned out to be the perfect car for what I'm doing with it.

Default Reading PA landmark....

...and a nice car too!!

When my son and I did the SCCA Solo 2 Nationals in Topeka, we were "Field Filler Racing" ....and that's about what we did. We were not last, but we could see it really well from our position.
