In theory it should work and I use it in all my cars, but it won't help a neglected / malfunctioning cooling system. It probably helps more on track days, etc......but for normal driving with a properly functioning cooling system you won't notice much if any difference.

It made a noticeable difference in my Scirocco. They are known for running hot, even after a recent flush/fill it still ran hot. It would almost reach over heat if idling too long. One bottle of this the guage is lower all around.

In this case, the Scirocco cooling system is horrible stock. I'm sure the Boxster is a much better design so the difference might not be that great.

Its my understanding that water wetter is designed for water. Not for H2O, coolant mix. I've heard
of residue problems with coolant (antifreeze).

Funny, but when I tried Water Wetter on two different cars: BMW 525i and Porsche 951, both required new radiators....and the dollars associated with fixing said radiators. Coinsidence???

I've used watter wetter in my 944 for a few years and it has made a noticeable but subtle improvement in lowering the coolant temperature. I haven't used it in my 996 because the 996 stays cool without it.
