In the new issue of Excellence magazine, Porsche design chief Harm Lagaay says that "upcoming Boxster variants" are going to knock your socks off (so to speak).
I think he's talking about the coupe. But...
I wonder if Porsche has plans to launch a Boxster Club Sports or RS? Anyone have any inclination?

The article is a piece ranking the top 10 best Porsche designs. Lagaay's direct quote is, "As for the future Boxster shootoffs? You will love it!"
And he clearly distinguishes this from the 987, which he calls "a beautiful evolution." So there's definitely going to be a Boxster "shootoff" besides the cabriolet.
A lean GT-style coupe would be cool (as would an RS cab). It makes you wonder!

That's been around for a while, so it's probably an "artist's interpretation". But I hope it looks similar as well. Excellence is speculating something of a Ferrari Dino-esque "flying buttress" look to the back. I hope not. This route would be so much more elegant. Dead sexy, I think...
