Default Decisions, decisions....

I am currently hunting for a new used P car and have driven a 2000S and ridden in a new 04 non-s. Not a ton of differance in power the 2.7 225h.p. boxter is quick. I have some deciding to do. I hear some actually prefer the smaller motor cars and the wonderful sounds they make, more peaky but definately not anemic.

I don't own one.. but I did test drive a 2001S and a 2003 standard.. and I didnt really feel the difference.. Perhaps its more noticeable when they are both from the same year.

I personally would go for a newer boxster non s with the update glass rear window. my 2 cents

thats what Im doing,

good luck,

Pick up the August Excellence and you'll find a nice comparison between the 04 S 550 and a '97 non-S 986.

I just drove the 04 S 550 and it was a blast. The Boxster is a great car with enough power to take advantage of its world class handling.
