Default Hello from Cork, Ireland

Hi,

So Stirling and I have been hitched for two and a bit years.

The key fob has never worked.

For the first few months I’d lock the car with the drivers door open through the interior button and then lock my door from the outside with the key.

Then, he decided that he would let me lock the car without having to lock it from the inside and the alarm would give a little beep and all was well for the last two years.

Last month, the central locking though the key stopped working I‘m back to system from when we first started going out. It’s annoying me, but it is what it is.

However, I got to play with a fancy computer today and pulled the codes. There’s lots of them, and I don’t know where to start.

Help please!

Codes -61 Central locking limit position Unlocked not reached

21 Wiead (DME immobiliser), open circuit •

-10 Voltage failure at terminal 30 with alarm system active

47 Central locking synchronisation

49 K lead

60 Central locking limit position Lock not reached

42 Wrong key or wrong transponder pill

59 Central locking limit position Secure not reached

23 Wlead (DME immobiliser), short circuit to B+

33 Passenger compartment monitoring sensor faulty
