Hi, I've owned my boxster since 2002, and I've got 102K on it. Very few problems over the years. I've neglected service since I moved north of Charlotte in 2015, and need to find a reliable mechanic to bring the car back up to par. It's sparingly used over the last few years--only 2000 miles per year. Any help in finding a reliable mechanic for service or pre-inspection (no I'm not selling, but I'd like the car reviewed as if I were). My shop down here closed.

I've got a few exterior things to take care of--my plastic window has minor tears at the fold, and the 3M plastic on my hood needs to be removed. RMS done, etc.

I suggest visiting a few and seeing what sort of cars they are working on and what they are doing to them. And ask to see a completed PPI form to see what sort of things are included and what the feedback quality is.
