Just drove the 550 Boxster
1st off the color, interior treatment, and that shifter look very sharp. The boxster S is the most fun car to drive in my opinion. The 550 just makes it perfect, the sound of the intake, the roar, that flat torque curve. I love it!

Haven't even had time to post pictures of mine since I picked it up on Saturday. I've been having way too much fun driving! #1369 Go for it, you'll love every second of it. The torque curve may be flat, but the engine LOVES being taken above 4500rpms. I came from a much torquier car, so I have to keep it have 3k when I'm having fun, but even under 2 there's enough oomph to get the car moving. Interestingly enough, if you configure a Boxster S on Porsche's site to match the 550's equipment level, you'll note a price that is WAY above the AE's... It's a good deal for a Porsche.

Well, I used to own a C5 vette, so almost everything is underpowered. Every one of 550's we've had was sold before it arrived except for this one, so it was nice to drive one.
