Default How to Remove Air Intake Pipe 97 Boxster

I could use some help in removing the air intake pipe with the chamber. I’m not able to disconnect the chamber so have been trying to remove the complete assembly but can’t do that. I’m trying to get that thing out of the way so that I can inspect the starter area for rat damage. Frustrated after a long week at work.

It's a very tight fit. I had my engine out when I removed mine and even then it was difficult to get off, standing under the car on a lift. There should be a gold strap/clamp on it at the airbox end.

Thanks. I finally got it out with the resonator box on. I was lucky that I didn't break anything. Once I got it out I was able to remove the resonator box. I plan to grease that interface so that it will go on and off easier.
