Default Stripes ala James Dean?

Silver Boxster, been thinking ever since I purchased it to have made red vinyl stripes for the rear fender, ala James Dean. Don't want to go as far as the number plates, just the stripes.

Thoughts? Anyone do this or seen pictures of it done on a Boxster?

Thanks for the input,
Carl

Thanks, Hacker-Pschorr for the pics of the original 500/550 ... but I was really curious if anyone has seen it done on a Boxster and had pictures of a Boxster.

Thanks ... anyone?

The front fender tunnels on my 993 are supposed to mimic the tailight stripes of a 550 Spyder while providing stone protection, too. I used RTA vinyl from a sign shop after making the shape with some blue painter's tape and asking the shop to cut out the shape to match. Application was a bit tricky with the curve around the headlight and the curves around the fenders and tunnels creating some minor creases.

Well you know beauty is in the eye of the beholder and if ya like it then the $%@! with everyone else. I think a nice two tone would be more appealing on the boxster. My S is seal gray metallic with an artic silver hard top. Some like it others say when you gonna paint it. I like it.

Default You meaan like this??

Here's my 550 SE with the Dean stripes. Done with magnetic material. So you can easily remove.

I'm a fan of Dean's and his "Little Bastard"
