Hi All, I'm at my witts end. Both of door mirrors have hard water spots on them and I can not remove them, I've tried everything I think. So I'm thinking of replacing the mirrors on my 2001 Boxster. Has anyone ever replace these mirrors before? If so, how hard or easy is it? Thanks in advance!

Push the inner most half of the glass until you can get a finger under the outer half and pull the glass until it releases from the mount.

1. Buy a Scotch non-scratch cleaning pad.

2. Buy Mother's Water Spot removal

I used it on my Camaro and it worked like a charm. Just be careful not to scrub too hard or the minerals in the spots can scratch the glass surface of the mirror.
