Default Ignition out of order on coolant leak!

Dears,
A funny thing occured onto our recently bought 986 - 1998 - M96-20 2.5L engine with 5Speed gearbox.
We have got a cooland leakage in the trunk due to a deffective collar.
Well, a significant amount of cooland drained thru the trunk floor and go into the chassis structure..
Leakage fixed, we have tried to start the car, but ignition refused to work!!
So, we've put the car on the elevator and seen the cooland appeared underneath, coming from chassis structure...
I've removed a rubber part to inflate compressed air into the structure, to dry it.
2-3 minutes later, I've tried to restart and engine started properly!!!

Well, I can't understand why ignition was blocked by this leakage!
No electrical part seemed to be touched by coolant...

Any idea?

Thanks!

(One possibility is that the engine control electronics are mounted un the carpet in the rear of the trunk. The coolant may have been sucked up through the carpet and caused a problem. Perhaps a bit far fetched, but I don't see any other link between a coolant leak and a refusal to start).

In fact... no!
We've checked wiring loom into the trunk...
This is the first part we have dried, day before.
We have used a borrow scope today to check if any connection is passing trhu this structure; then nothing!!
Anyway, car is now running well; this is the most important point!
