Default Is splitter needed

Hey, trying to decide if I want to keep the splitter on the (new to me) track car.

The thing gets caught on EVERYTHING. I can't even pass state inspection because I can't drive into the shop.
Don't have a trailer yet but I imagine getting one that I can I drive onto like this will be tough.

How much difference do you think the splitter makes on the track? (I'm not racing, just DE's.)

Take it off for the inspection and learn to drive/park with it or sell it. Parking you can use the relationship between the side mirror and the curb as a reference.
Personally, if it came with the car and I was doing DEs I’d keep it.
I always thought the 911 guys who fuct up the rake so they could park were the lamest.

Took it off to pass inspection. Here's the pic without the splitter:

I'm not really concerned about curbs and parking. I'm concerned about finding a trailer that is either low enough or has a long enough ramp (without paying $10K for a tilting one) and about getting into places like gas stations for example, that tend to have a bit of ramp to get in. Also speedbumps.
