Default Reattaching Boxster trunk badge after ceramic coating

My car has been repainted in the past 3 months. I have waited for the paint to thoroughly dry before a clay detail, ceramic coating application, and possible paint protection in some high traffic areas is applied.

The body shop removed the badges and I did not have them replace them. Can the Boxster script be reapplied on top of the ceramic coating or should it be in place before? Is there a template for replacement or does that only come with a new badge?

Of course it can be applied after ceramic coating, but is it the best course of action? No. You'd be wise to have all rear Boxster emblems and any decals applied before the ceramic treatment. For the record, my last two Porsches had paint correction and ceramic treatment. It does make the paint surface really slippery.
