I have officially gotten the cam cover off while having the engine in the car. Success. I was to inspect the guide rails since I have some insane camshaft deviation, but they don't look corroded or broken at all... Another theory I have is the solenoid, but I don't have any reason to think it besides I don't know what else to blame. Take a look at these photos and let me know if the guide rails look bad and to see the joy on my face when I finally got the cover off. Thank you for your time.

New problem, I started the procedure of taking my camshaft off on bank two, but im not sure which chain tensioner to remove in order to free the camshaft, is it the vertical one or the horizontal?
