I'm looking for new seats for my street/DE 2000 Boxster S. Could you reply by posting specific models that have been installed in your cars already? I'm very concerned in finding the right seat that is both narrow enough to fit in the small Boxster's seat wells and wide enough for me at 6' 245lbs. Any specific seats that you would recommend?
I'm 220 and dont have an issue with the stock 986 seats. With that said I pulled those out and put in 987 seats. Was cheaper to get those then it was to recover the 986 seats.

I have to agree with you. Us fat asses can never get fully comfortable in these cars, but I still love driving a Porsche.
I doing a video about installing a Racetech 4100 Wide https://racetechseats.com/products/4100-series.php in my 986 S. Im 6'2 and 92kg (202lbs) 34-36 waist and I find it a bit too sloppy for me (but it was free so Im not complaining). It's in the car with no clearance issues with full trim. I have it on sliders and BK floor mounts but I was in an accident in my daily and can't do much with my left shoulder so its on hold for the moment.
