Default 986S Tapping sound troubleshooting

Anyone have any experience with this sound? Or know what it could be? Started happening today with my 2004 986S. This was the idle sound after taking a "cooling lap" post spirited 15 minute drive. It was warmed up before driving spiritedly. Sound more evident on driver side. Seems to go away with a little addition of gas. Has roughly 141k miles

Got a durametric? Check your cam deviations. Sounds like cam chain pads are shot.

Also, check your oil level lately?

I don't have a durametric. Yes, oil level is fine, Indy shop that did my ppi said deviation within spec. Blackstone oil Analysis said nothing about plastic.
