Do you mind sharing? I've narrowed my search down to 6 cars, 3 01's and 2 02's base models and 1 '00 S model. I love the sound of this engine as it runs to redline removing the snorkel will probably be my first "mod".

Thanks,
X2

I will probably try this mod this week.

One thing to watch out for... You may want to insert a protective screen to filter out cigarette butts. It's a long shot that one would ever be sucked into your engine, but the snork may help prevent that from happening.

That is a long shot, I have not had any problems, but if something does get thru then you, should notice it when you do your yearly Air Filter check and cleaning. Nothing will get thru the air filter to the engine, and that is what counts.

Also the 2003 and Up Boxster's no longer have the Snorkel, so what is good for the goose is good for the gander, so to speak.

16 grand is cheap! I'm looking for a boxster, hope I can find one around that price.
