Default Light left on Chime

Hello, this is my first post. I just bought my first Porsche (2000 Porsche Boxster S) yesterday, and the light chime was working fine. I messed with the window switches today because they were not wired correctly, and at some point I found a disconnected, three-pin wire. I do not know what it goes to.

Since doing this, the car will chime at me when I open the drivers door. This is the same chime that occurs when the lights are left on, remove keys, and open the door.

I do not know if this is in any way related to the window switch wire I found in the center console, but I am not sure why it is beeping at me. I can not find anything in the owners manual or anything online. Does anyone know the reasons why this chime occurs?

Thanks!
