DIY: Replacing the O2 sensors
#2
Good luck with that! I recently changed the O2 sensors on my 1999 996 C2 Cab with 80k miles, and all 4 of then galled their threads coming out of the bungs. This after days of penetrating fluid and copious amounts of heat with a propane torch. I ended up having to dig the O2 sensor threads out of the threads in the bungs one little piece at a time, then cleaned up the bung threads with a tap and installed the 4 new O2 sensors. That one went sideways real quick.

The Bosch parts are cheaper, they don't carry the Porsche markup. https://sites.google.com/site/mikefocke2/oxygensensors contains a part number cross reference table.
