Damp morning with rough running problem
So today was going to be a beautiful warm day in Atlanta, so I thought I would take the 986 into work. I had parked it outside yesterday, and the morning was pretty cool so there was dew and condensation on everything.
Started it up and clearly it was running on 4 - 5 cylinders. Warning light on the dash said "drive to workshop", and it sounded like an old Subaru. So, I just shut it off and drove the 911 today.
So, I get home this afternoon, and drove the 986 around. It started and ran perfectly. So, obviously it must be the moisture in some electronics.
No moisture under the seats at all, and no moisture on the outside of the DME. I did a search for "moisture" on the forum, but did not see any other results quite like this. It seems with moisture, they either start, or don't start at all.
Anyone else ever have this type of experience?
Thanks for any advice.
