You should put the parts you used in the video. Looks like you used the metra kit, but part numbers always help. Good video, can't wait to see what you do about the amp.

I have links in the description. At least for the speakers. I’ll add them to the head unit video if they aren’t there and planned on the same for the amp. Thanks!

Thanks for your efforts. When I did mine, I used a Metra kit and an adaptive wiring harness. Had a little problem with the power connections, but it works pretty well. My OEM was primitive and had died.

Mine is a 2 din Pioneer--which provides a decent unit very reasonably priced. In retrospect, I wish I'd gotten one with Bluetooth connectivity. I have another on my Highlander, touch screen and no *****. Very simple to use.

I just installed a new HU purchased from AliExpress. I am actually very impressed with it. The wiring harness that comes with it is plug and play for the 986 and they have an option for those with the Bose system. I bought the 8gb RAM/256gb ROM version. It took about a month to get delivered to me in Texas. It starts up pretty fast and CarPlay works perfectly, in fact better than the HU in my 2022 Honda. The touchscreen is very responsive.
