Default 1999 2.5 L manual crank rotation

I have two sources, the 101 projects book and a post on another forum, stating Clockwise from the front of the engine and Clockwise from the back of the engine.
Does it matter? I may have to reset the timing on my engine.
Thanks,
Stan

Looking at pully side of the engine, it rotates clockwise.

BTW, make sure you have your procedure down cold, and have the right tools, if you are going to start messing with your timing. It is one of those screwups, that get REAL costly, REAL quick. Knowing which way to rotate the engine is the most basic of knowledge necessary.

If you ever are in doubt, remove the panel behind the seats and start the car. Rotate in the direction the engine runs!
