Anyone have a recommendation for getting a top installed in Northern Virginia?

The place to go, IMHO is adler-mandel in Rockville. They are fantastic, experienced, best prices, you can bring your own top, etc. etc...they have been doing my upholstery and tops for 35 years.

The other NOVA one I knew of was LIM's. Are they still around? Chantilly and Tysons.

My recommendations are probably from 10 years or so ago.

they are in Tysons and Chantilly, limsau(dotcom) LIMS is larger and I would expect very competent, given the cars they would have worked on through the years in that area.
I only have experience with Adler-Mandel in Rockville.
What I have always been impressed with at Adler is how fair, honest and punctual they are.
