Extend my Seat...does it work?
Fellow Listers:
The subject of comfort in the 986 cabin has been addressed before. Personally, I find the cabin to be a bit cramped no matter what the driver's seat position is. The GT3 console delete does help a little, but I still cannot get comfortable.
Has anyone tried the Extend My Seat brackets for the 986? I am interested in this product, but I'd like to know if it really works. From what I can observe in my car (2002 986) with the seat all the way back there is really no more room for it to travel. I have seen reference to good results for the 911.
Can anyone comment?
Thanks
Matt M.

I'm only 6' but with a long torso. In a 986 I had the seats almost all the way back in such a manner that my head would not contact the roll bar in an accident. Sure enough I got rear ended. The 911 works because you have a longer cabin and the foot wells for the back seat to extend into.
The 987 I found slightly larger.
