Default 987.2 suspension on a 986?

The low price of 986's has me seriously considering one to use for a fun driver. I have full Cayman R suspension sitting in my garage -- will that fit on a 986?

Cheers,
DJM

In front, no, because the diameter of the bottom strut shaft is bigger on the 987 than on the 986. The tops are the same.

The backs are most likely the same, the tops for sure, send me a pm with the measurements of the front and back strut bottom diameters and I'll check them with a set of 986 struts i have in my garage. You might be able to swap in a front carrier from a 987 onto your Boxster?
