Default 3.6 Conversion for 2000 Boxster

Has your shop done any 2000 2.7 litre swaps with the 3.6 996 motor? If so what kind of cost are we looking at? What is the shop cost if I supply the engine?

I know of a shop in southern cal that has. It's costly - (after donating your engine about $8500 - I'd double check though) I'd advise to sell the boxster and get a 911 (I actually did) before going through with that. A 96' 993 will do wonders if you are looking for more performance.

I considered doing that to my boxster S, as the chassis (brakes, H/R Springs, etc) could handle the extra power. I wouldn't advise a sinking it into a 2.7.
