Default New 02 S owner looking for wheel/tire advice

Hi! Just got an '02 Boxster S a couple weeks ago now and figured I should join the community.

So far I'm loving it, coming from having an S2000 most recently.

Took it to the dragon and now I'm in the market for some wheels and sticky tires - let me know your recommendations!

Currently on 17s as shown below, I'm leaning towards 18x7.5 or 18x8 front and 18x9 rear wheels with RE71R tires

I run 17" and use Sumitomo HTR Z III on the street and Bridgestone Potenza RE-71R on AX and track.

I'm in the Louisville KY area, is that anywhere close to you?

For the tires it'd be a combo between curvy roads, AutoX, and track use. Hopefully on sunny days but you never know what you're going to get

Was leaning towards the RE71Rs as well...just know I have to get out of these all seasons.
