I have purchased a set of Litronic lights for my 2001 Boxster. I would like to enable the high beam rotation function. I do not really care about the levelling feature. I have seen the Pelican parts upgrade kit ,but can not find out if I can use the OEM light control module part Bosch 996.618.151.15.
Does anyone know if that is an option?
i guess some splicing work would be required.

Hi, I just finished the same upgrade for my 2001 S. I used an OEM harness for this and the high beam rotation works with it.

Hi - with the OEM control box above, it enables the main headlights to rotate up to complement the high beam. Without the box, the Litronic lights work fine as plug and play but are static. I have read about the self leveling feature documented in many other posts but need to run wires from the sensors to the control box which seemed like more work than I wanted to embark on. This box works just fine without those. You can find so many on eBay.

Hi. I bought a brand new harness from Pelican. Not sure about eBay - they will have some stuff from parts cars but I didn’t want to mess around with figuring out an old harness. The control box I Velcroed under the front truck carpet on the passenger side. The harness length also dictates that.
