Is this actually your car?

If so what are your impressions?

Here is a quote "The Roock RSB 340 really combines the best of both worlds: the point and shoot handling of the mid engine Boxster chassis along with the fantastic power delivery and torque of the current generation 3.6 liter 996 power plant with Variocam+. The result can best be described as the Carrera GT's stealthy kid brother"

Uhh so you're really just advertising for Roock? Or is this your car?

nice ride but IMHO it could do without the ricer-like advertising logos on the sides.

"Rice" is in the eye of the beholder IMO....any car that is tastefully modified is not "rice" as far as I'm concerned. If someone is paranoid and sensitive about his car being "rice" then it probably is....

...but sites like riceboyz.com and anti-rice show clearly blatant examples.

I want to see real dyno numbers not Roock's "estimated" horsepower. I'm also skeptical of the modified ECU, what does that mean exactly? There shouldn't be any reason to modify the stock 3.6 ECU other than to try and match it to the headers, intake, etc. but the 3.6 ECU's don't have any proven programs yet, this would have to be a one-off and if they are claiming their reprogram is successful then they've been able to do something that GAIC and other popular tuners have not yet been able to do which sounds a little suspicious. I also note that the front brake description includes "carbon" what does that mean? These brake rotors aren't carbon and most people aren't wanting PCCB's now anyway given the problems that seem to be cropping up with them right and left and Porsche disclaimer of warranty coverage.

The model in the car is the best part if you ask me. I don't like the riceboyz stickers either, but I understand the tuner wanting to advertise their car which also seems to be the purpose of this thread...
